You have thousands of teachable moments in the context of a 15-year window where kids are most open to learning and development - physically, mentally, tactically, emotionally, psychosocially, and in terms of core character. 

The goal of this podcast is to boost our enjoyment of the game and of the gift we have in our children. We hope to help parents, players, and coaches to make the most of the time we have with our kids, and to launch them into the world of adulthood with a solid toolbox of life skills.

It's a known fact that the English Premier League (EPL) boasts some of the highest standard of soccer (English Football) in the world. How cool would it be to bring a slice of the finest soccer program in the world to our own backyard? To fly coaches who work in an English Premier League Academy over here and give local kids a chance to enjoy the same kind of opportunities that kids who live in Stoke-on-Trent get from very early ages? 

That's what we did, and this past weekend, the Damascus Soccer Club hosted the Stoke City Potters in Maryland and offered ID Camp (recruiting opportunities) to kids from all over the region: Maryland, VA, and DC. 

Ride along in the car as I talk with Andrew Foxall, a boys 14U Academy coach. Andy flew in on Friday from Manchester airport, stayed three days with us, and took a look at kids who showed up for the opportunity.
